The SBCC Dress Code contributes to the tradition and decorum of our Club and applies to the entire Club property. Members must ensure that their family and guests are dressed appropriately. Guests should be advised of the Spring Brook Dress Code before arrival at the Club.
The Dress Code for the clubhouse is Country Club casual. Certain Club functions may require jacket and tie. Denim, cut-offs, sweat pants, tank tops and tee shirts are not permitted. Sneakers are not permitted on the first floor. Hats shall be removed in the clubhouse to include the Grille Room and the locker rooms. During the golf season, golf attire is permitted in the dining facilities; however, golf shoes are not permitted anywhere on the first floor of the Clubhouse. During the tennis season, tennis attire (including tennis footwear) is permitted in the Travis Tavern, Grille Room and terraces for lunch. Tennis attire is permitted on the Travis Tavern Terrace for dinner.
Golf Course attire shall, at the minimum, include shirts tucked in at the waist at all times, shorts no more than 4 inches above the knee, no cargo shorts or cargo pants, and traditional hats worn in the conventional manner (not to be worn backwards).
Pool attire is strictly limited to the immediate pool areas and is not acceptable at the halfway house, clubhouse or any other area of the Club grounds. Swimming attire must be in good taste and consistent with country club standards. Cut-offs and denim are not permitted.
Tennis whites are appropriate attire, and shall be generally consistent with accepted fashion guidelines for the sport. Cut-offs and running shoes are not permitted. White, flat-soled tennis shoes, appropriate for Har-Tru courts are required.
